Ina Coolbrith Memorial Poetry Prize

The UC-wide Ina Coolbrith Memorial Poetry Prize contest is now accepting submissions. This contest is open to undergraduate students.

Poems are due to the Literature Department office (Humanities 1, room 303) by Friday, November 20th at 3:00 PM. All submissions will be reviewed by a UCSC faculty member; three poems from the total entries to each contest will be forwarded to the UC-wide review committee. Students may submit up to three poems for the contest, totaling six pages.

Submissions must be typewritten and not have the student's name on the work. An entry card needs to be completely filled out and attached to each poem submitted. The entry card should include the following information:
- name of contest
- number of pages
- student's name
- local address
- permanent address
- telephone number
- email address
- student identification number
- title of entry

The Ina Coolbrith Memorial Poetry Prize contest offers a total of $500 in prize money.
